Spotlight On...
Jessie Ganjian (left)
Hi, I'm Jessie. I'm a senior at Palisades and the Social Action/Tikun Olam Vice President at Adat Shalom.
This
summer, I went on Far West on Wheels 2K9. It's two and a half weeks of fun on a bus with a bunch
of people that'll become some of your closest friends. We went to the Pacific Northwest,
which included, San Francisco, Medford/Ashland, Portland, Olympia, Seattle,
Eugene, Shasta Lake, Monterey, then we ended up back in LA. We went across the Golden Gate Bridge
in San Fran, saw a play in Ashland, and went to
the Space Needle in Seattle,
along with many other things. But the places weren't what made the trip; it was
the experience I had with thirty-four people, including the staff. I know that
if I go somewhere in Far West, from LA to Tucson,
I have a friend. It is an experience that I'm glad to have chosen, and you
won't regret one bit of it when you go.
