Bikkur Cholim

Our Bikkur Cholim Committee is at the very heart of our synagogue.  We are a community that is all about caring for each other.  Members of this committee make sure fellow synagogue members feel a genuine sense of caring.  We make phone calls, visit hospitals, homes and help with transportation.  We also send out caring get well cards as well as bring meals to fellow synagogue members in need.  Bikkur Cholim is one of the things that makes Adat Shalom so special, building strong relationships and caring is our way of synagogue life.  We are a hamisha synagogue "where everybody knows your name" and our Bikkur Cholim work is an outgrowth of the wonderful community involvement we have here at Adat Shalom.
