Community Overview
Adat Shalom’s Community Committee – A Committee for all seasons
The newly organized Community committee of 14 congregants
and our new Religious School and Programming Director, Michael Raileneau, is
made up of members from all areas of our community – ECC parents, Religious
school parents, Women’s league and Men’s clubs, young and older families. We
work together to coordinate all aspects of synagogue life and support
programming designed to connect members of all ages and life stages.
Our activities range from organizing Tot Shabbat, special community-wide services with summertime themes
(Sha-bbq and Shabbat under the stars) adult education series, social action
activities and community wide events. Our focus is on attracting, welcoming and
integrating new members to Adat Shalom
and creating a vibrant community where all feel connected and uplifted.
We strive to create programs that are inclusive of all areas
of the community, encourage a variety of activities – serious and social (and
both!) designed to allow members to interact and connect to our spiritual home.
We are very excited to be offering the following activities
and programs at Adat Shalom. These are
just a sample. Look out for details of all upcoming activities on our newly
updated website as well as in Aspects
