HAZAK -- The Growing Potential

Individuals age 55 and older are the largest growing group in North America. Currently numbering more than 20 percent of the Average Conservative Congregation’s membership, studies show that fully 25 percent of all American Jews will be members of this age group within the next decade. 

Hazak, The United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism’s Organization for Mature Jews, exists to meet the social and religious needs of this group. Therefore, we are proud to announce the beginning of a new Hazak group here at Adat Shalom. 

Taking our cue from the on-going success of USCJ’ Kadimah and USY Youth Groups, HAzak offers membership in on organization that provides 

·        Camaraderie and social interaction 

·        Intellectual stimulation 

·        Religious guidance 

·        Fun
