Men's Club
Men’s Club of Adat Shalom is an energetic intergenerational organization
that is part of The Federation of Jewish Men’s Club, with 234 Men’s member
groups throughout the United States, Canada, England, Santiago, Chile and most
recently Mumbai and New Dehli,
India. Known by its call letters, FJMC, the
organization was formulated in 1928 with a mission to keep men connected to
Judaism and their respective shuls through camaraderie, Tikun Olam, Mitzvot,
Tefillah (prayer), study of Torah and service to their synagogue and the Jewish
community at large. The West Los Angeles
Jewish Organization, later to be known as Adat Shalom, joined the Federation of
Jewish Men’s Clubs in 1945, 63 years ago and is still going strong. Our
programs and activities include:
