Join

If you think about it, there aren’t too many spaces for face-to-face connection in our contemporary world.  Even at work, where Americans spend most of their time, we are growing increasingly separate. And the Holy One knows sitting in traffic on the 405 definitely does not count as quality time.
 
Our hamisch community, Adat Shalom, provides connection when connection is scarce. We believe that what really matters in life are relationships: relationship to each other, relationships with our children, relationship to Torah; relationship to our local neighborhood and global world; relationship to God.
 
Joining our community means finding a place for yourself where people know your name, say hello when you walk through the door, and care about you. Joining our community means finding a sanctuary that is open and alive, tefillah (prayer) is exciting and waits for your participation. Joining our community means experiencing Torah that is deep and meaningful and brings inner contemplation and the imperative to help the outside world. Joining our community means finding a place to truly be yourself.
