Adat Shalom is a strong Zionist community. We love Israel and we advocate for the homeland of the Jewish people and the home of about one-half of the Jews on the planet.
Since October 7th, Israel and the Jewish people have faced significant challenges, including false propaganda, media bias and resurgence in antisemitism activity on college campuses and beyond. We look to support Israel in non-political ways and raising our voices whenever possible. We have developed a relationship with ADI-Negev in Israel, a remarkable rehabilitation facility that works with children and adults with all kinds of needs. We support the IDF Wounded Soldiers programs, bringing them to Adat Shalom and hearing their stories of heroism and hardship as wounded soldiers. We attend rallies in solidarity with Israel locally and throughout the Greater Los Angeles area.
