Our Campus/Facility Rental

Adat Shalom broke ground on its present location in 1953, and we have never stopped building and improving upon our lovely campus.  Our community prays in our beautiful sanctuary, and shares meals in our spacious social hall and in our charming courtyard. Children play on our playground or learn, sing, and create in our library, many classrooms, or in Newmark Hall.  We welcome you to join us at Adat Shalom - we have room for everyone!

If you are looking for a place for a family or work event, we probably have the perfect space for you!  Our sanctuary, social hall, Newmark Hall, and courtyard are available for rent for your kosher-catered event - please see below for Adat Shalom's Kashrut Policy.

Main Sanctuary

Accommodates approximately 300 seated guests, expandable to 500 when doors to the adjoining Social Hall are opened.

Social Hall

Our expansive Social Hall can comfortably accommodate up to 250 guests. The stage and dance floor make it ideal for a wide variety of occasions.

Courtyard

Perfect for receptions, concerts, and casual gatherings, our outdoor courtyard can accommodate approximately 120 seated guests.

Newmark Hall

Accommodates up to 70 people, very well-suited for smaller events.

Film Location Rentals

The Adat Shalom campus is also available as a location for professional film, television, and commercial production. With our Mid-Century Modern campus and social halls and our timelessly beautiful main sanctuary, we can accommodate a wide variety of filmming needs at one location. Kashrut Policy for Adat Shalom

As a Conservative congregation linked with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, one of our most sacred obligations is to inspire, teach, and uphold the laws, traditions, values, and customs of Judaism, including the dietary Mitzvah of Kashrut. While we recognize different members of our community observe Kashrut in different ways, it is our goal to make sure that everyone who enters Adat Shalom is comfortable in both participating in and eating at all events and programs. 

If you rent space from us for an event, it will be necessary for you to use a kosher caterer for any food provided. We're happy to assist you in selecting a kosher caterer - for this and any other questions, just contact us at (310) 475-4985 or at info@adatshalomla.org.
